We asked marketers around the globe what they thought were the best marketing blogs, based on whether they added value or taught them something. Some of the blogs featured in their responses are popular blogs you might already be familiar with, while others you may have never heard of. I researched each suggestion and narrowed it down to 21 of the most effective marketing blogs for marketers. (In no particular order!)

It’s simple to understand and use – instantly. If you can’t describe it clearly, you probably don’t know it very well. Ahrefs is my favorite marketing blog. They have improved their content in the last six to twelve months. They have also recently updated their blog layout and have some really cool images for blog posts. But aesthetics aside I find their posts to be very enjoyable. They explain the basics very well for beginners, but their advanced SEO techniques will be described to hardcore SEO experts. It regularly shares expertise gained from working within industry with some of most advanced technologies available in digital marketing. Search Engine Watch
Search Engine Watch is one of the best blogs for marketing that I follow. It’s important for online businesses to be at the top search engines. Staying on top of the search engine news helps us know that we’re heading in the right direction. The site also offers a number of guides that will help you improve your website’s ranking in Google. This article gives a 360-degree view of the topic and provides granular information on why SMS marketing is a powerful tool for marketers.
Social Media Examiner
Social Media Examiner is my favorite for the latest tips and trends on social media marketing. The posts are always current and cover key platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. The posts I have read are designed to help small business owners increase sales, drive traffic and make the most of their platform. I’ve implemented many of these recommendations to improve the connection we have with our customers. It is perfect for my digital marketing firm because it provides the latest tech, digital space and marketing in one place. It is difficult to keep up because the blog is updated daily with so much content. But this is good, as I never run out of things to think about. The homepage features a section called “Top Articles” that highlights the most popular and best posts from the last few days. It is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. It is my first stop when I’m looking for new marketing ideas. I recommend adding this blog to your arsenal.

Search Engine Land is a great resource for “times when crisis” arises. As I was always up-to-date and diverse, I found the best information. Google changed its algorithm suddenly?
